For under 400 euros: This 55-inch TV is currently storming the Amazon sales charts

In its online shop, Amazon offers product lists with particularly popular items. It is sometimes surprising which products are at the top of the list. For example, one of the current bestsellers in the “television” category is neither a premium device from Samsung, LG or Sony, but rather a cheap smart TV from Hisense. The 55-inch model is currently available at a reduced price of 369 euros.

Was the device so popular? That must be a very good price-performance ratio. On the one hand, the 55-inch format is very popular and there are a lot on offer for under 400 euros. In addition to the now common 4K resolution, the QLED television supports the current image standards Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Co.

Dolby Atmos is supported for cinematic sound. You can also use your AirPlay 2 to mirror your iPhone screen content and use voice control via Amazon Alexa. The VIDAA U7.6 operating system gives you access to numerous apps and popular streaming services.

The refresh rate is 60 Hertz, and the device offers a special “MEMC” mode with particularly low latency for gamers. The Hisense television also has TÜV certification for its low level of blue light.

On the connection side, there are three HDMI sockets, a composite video input, two USB ports and LAN. WLAN and Bluetooth are also on board, as is a triple tuner for receiving television programs via cable, satellite or DVB-T2.
