Farah Khan appoints a new cameraman to shoot her videos

Mumbai, September 24 (IANS): Choreographer and director Farah Khan has released a hilarious video with actors and comedians Kiku Sharda and Rajiv Thakur, featuring their playful conversations about creating Reels together.

The cheerful discussion takes a comical turn when Farah jokingly asks Rajiv to intervene and record the video, which leaves him visibly amused and surprised.

Taking to Instagram, Farah, who has 4.2 million followers, shared a lively reel in which she is seen in a bright yellow kurta and blue flared leg pajamas. In the clip, she playfully chats with Kiku and Rajiv and says, “Hamari reels are not that great but if I’m not wearing them, we need to do something dynamic.”

Kiku jumps into it with enthusiasm, saying, “I never really understood this idea,” as he reveals his concept for the role. However, Rajiv humorously interrupts him and points out, “Should I do this before I do it… to shoot it?” To which Farah cheekily replies, “To shoot it. You will shoot it.”

The playful exchange reflects their camaraderie and creates the basis for an entertaining collaboration.

Farah captioned the video as, “The collab no one asked for…but we’re doing it anyway…Kiku Sharda…kind entrance #rajivthakur.”

The National Award winner has now choreographed more than 100 songs in over 80 films. She has also worked on several international projects such as “Monsoon Wedding”, “Bombay Dreams” and “Vanity Fair”.

Most recently, she was the choreographer for the song “Chaleya” from the 2023 action thriller “Jawan”, directed by Atlee. Produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under Red Chillies Entertainment, the film features Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role along with Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Priyamani and Sanya Malhotra.

The 59-year-old has directed “Main Hoon Na”, “Om Shanti Om”, “Tees Maar Khan” and “Happy New Year”.

Farah also appeared as a judge in reality TV shows like Indian Idol, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Nach Baliye, Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, Dance India Dance Li’l Masters 1, Just Dance”, “India’s Got Talent” and “Zee Comedy Show”.
