Crime – Trial for sexual abuse started – Bavaria

Munich (dpa) – Sexual abuse, human trafficking, forced prostitution: A trial begins on Tuesday (11 a.m.) at the Munich I Regional Court against a man who is said to have literally summoned small children to his home in order to abuse them. Over a period of twelve years, he is said to have searched the Internet for women who would allow him to abuse their children.

In at least two cases, the children’s mother is said to have brought them to him herself. He is said to have paid several thousand euros for the abuse. The public prosecutor’s office accuses the 81-year-old of serious sexual abuse of children, attempting to incite forced prostitution and possession of child pornography.

Also accused is a 31-year-old man who, among other things, is said to have brought his girlfriend’s daughter to the 81-year-old in Pullach and blackmailed the old man with his actions.

The court expects the proceedings to be long and has scheduled more than 30 days of hearings for the trial. The verdict could therefore be announced in January next year.
