User hushpolocaps69 has revealed the information on how Arion was able to obtain the leaked footage of the game on the GamingLeaksAndRumors subreddit. This update should always be taken with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed yet.

According to hushpolocaps69, a phishing scam was carried out for the GTA VI leaks in 2022, targeting a Rockstar India employee.

Arion sent a phishing email to an employee who was working from home. This allowed him to obtain all sensitive browser data, including the employee’s login credentials for the Slack channels used by the Rockstar team. This was the main cause of the leaks.

Also, many sources claim that Rockstar India has been working on the entire Vice Beach area, which also suggests that the map size in this game will be huge.

Release in fall 2025!

The new updates and leaks regarding the release date all point to a release in fall 2025. This also means that we could see the release of GTA VI around November and December 2025.
