Exclusive! The Gucci muses came together for an after-show party in Milan

Not long after the last oversized coat rolled down the runway at Gucci’s Spring 2025 show, Gucci’s creative director Sabato De Sarno brought all of his muses and showgoers together once again for a post-show celebration.

From the show’s venue, the Triennale di Milano – the city’s museum of art and design in the stately Parco Sempione – it was a short detour to Horto, a typically Milanese restaurant with a rooftop terrace offering views of Milan Cathedral.

There, the party The after-party was a real all-out affair, with many of the main cast presenting their second looks of the evening. Debbie Harry swapped her pencil skirt and leather jacket for an embellished tracksuit jacket with an F1 twist; Daisy Edgar-Jones appeared in oversized denim after turning heads in a pair of white semi-sheer micro shorts; Dakota Johnson also donned something more comfortable – jeans and a chic black leather jacket.

If De Sarno’s just-launched collection was inspired by the “casual grandeur” of Jackie Kennedy, then that was also the mood his party guests took on. The Gucci girls seemed to have traded in their stylist-approved outfits for something a little less “designed” – what could be more glamorous than effortlessness?

As Sabrina Carpenter’s “Freedom” and popular songs by The Strokes played from the speakers manned by DJ Alix Brown, Dakota Johnson and Gabriette were seen hitting it off right away. Actors Julia Garner and Nicola Coughlan sat at a table with Jessica Chastain. Solange showed up and posed for photos with Harry and De Sarno. Meanwhile, plates were passed around by Horto’s chef Niederkofler, who sticks to “1-hour ingredients” (everything is hyper-locally sourced). Jannik Sinner admired the Michelin-starred cuisine and spent most of the evening chatting with the chefs.

Things really got going when De Sarno started taking photos with his party guests. He had a lot to celebrate. That night, it had been almost a year since his very first Gucci collection came out, and according to Vogue’s Luke Leitch said with his Spring 2025: “De Sarno has found some new fans.” Cheers to that!
