Five of the world’s top six players will choose China for the ATP 500 tournament rather than the Japan Open, which also takes place this week.

The battle for first place in the world rankings seems to be over for now, as Sinner was able to extend his lead over the rest of the field to 4,000 points thanks to a successful 2024 season.

When will the China Open 2024 take place?

The WTA 1000 tournament begins on Wednesday, 25 September 2024 and runs until the final on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

The ATP 500 tournament starts on Thursday, 26 September 2024 and runs until the final on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

Coverage starts from approx. 4am British time every day.

How to watch and live stream the China Open 2024 in the UK

You can watch the China Open 2024 live on Sky Sports.

Sky Sports can be added to any Sky TV package for just £22 per month for all nine sports channels, or you can get the full sports package plus Netflix for £43 per month.

Sky Sports customers will be able to live stream the tournament as part of their subscription via the Sky Go app on a variety of devices, including most smartphones and tablets.
