Android 15: These are the most important new features in Android 15 QPR1 Beta 2 for Pixel smartphones

Google died about ten days ago Android 15 QPR1 Beta 2 released, which again had a whole host of new features in this edition. Google still hasn’t managed to roll out the latest Android 15 to Pixel smartphones, but the QPR track for the next Pixel Feature Drop version has already reached the second beta. Google released Android 15 QPR1 Beta 2 a few days ago and with it, once again brought a whole host of new features to the Pixel smartphones in the beta channel, which we will present to you quickly and clearly here.

Charge up to 80 percent

In order to protect the smartphone battery as much as possible and still have a high level of comfort, Android 15 can only be charged to a maximum of 80 percent if desired. Quick keyboard switching

Starting with Beta 2, the standard keyboard on Android 15 has a new button that allows you to change the interface more quickly.

Lock screen widgets on the Pixel tablet

Good news for Pixel tablet users: They can now set up widgets on the lock screen that are visible when the display is turned on. This of course also strengthens its use as a smart display.

The new Android 15 desktop mode

Android 15 QPR1 Beta 2 finally brings the desktop mode that Google has been working on for several years. It can now be activated and used on the Pixel tablet. This mode has some of its strengths.

Continuous color correction

Android 15 now offers a virtually continuous color correction via slider, which allows users to adjust their preferences very precisely.

Screen recording and cast label

If the current display on the screen is recorded or transferred to another device via cast, this is now shown even more clearly on the interface than before. There is a chip on the left edge of the upper status bar, similar to when making a phone call or using the camera.

New settings interface

Google’s designer has cleaned up the settings interface. These now offer even more clarity and a new sorting system. Initially, this will certainly be a new search game for frequent users, but fundamentally it is structured more logically than before.
